Abstract
"The goal of Culture and Health 2000 is to involve communities in BC in ensureing the provision of culturally appropriate mental health care for all British Columbians. Culture and Health 2000 is a community development process in which communities in the province assess the mental health needs of minority cultural groups in their areas, and then develop local responses for them. These responses are envisioned as having an impact on existing programs and services, not creating parallel services."
