Abstract
Looks at the issue of youth who are exposed to physical and emotional abuse at home. Designed to be a tool to help break the silence on domestic violence, making it safe for teens to speak out, explore their feelings and ask for help. It is also intended to be used in the larger context of preventing dating violence and promoting non-violent community social attitudes.
Notes
"Primarily designed for presentation to high school students in facilitated violence prevention education sessions. It might also be suitable for use in health and career education curriculum units or for students participating in group counselling sessions. Another purpose could be to help focus discussion with educators, counselling staff and parents."
