Abstract
Geriatric care is one of six program and service areas focused on after the ROARS (Review of Acute and Rehabilitation Services) review of 1998. A committee was developed with the mandate to support and enhance the current system of older adult care, and to articulate a vision for an integrated, anticipatory model of future services built on existing programs.
