This curriculum package was designed for ESL teachers to use with adults who have recently come to Canada. It provides information and resources about parenting and discipline issues that may come up in newcomer families. It includes legally accurate information about the laws on child discipline and child abuse. The video contains three five-minute scenarios: Looking after each other; Discipline in the family; Intervention. The curriculum guide contains activities to use with the video.
