Community consultations explored what the needs are for supports and services related to substance use for LGBT people in Vancouver and Richmond. Three major themes were found in the focus groups and interviews:
Accessing appropriate and effective supports and services relating to substance use and addictions; need for community information and education relating to drugs and alcohol; accessing appropriate supports and services relating to determinants of health.
